Selenium from CareMe contains a whopping 200 µg (364% DRI) of organically bound selenium in the form of selenium yeast per capsule. Selenium yeast contains primarily the bioavailable selenomethionine as well as other organic selenium compounds. Organic selenium is more easily absorbed by the body than the inorganic forms.

Selenium contributes to:

• normal functioning of the immune system

• normal thyroid function

• normal spermatogenesis

• to maintain normal hair and nails

• to protect cells against oxidative stress

The product also contains alfalfa powder – a nutrient-dense powder with a naturally balanced content. Alfalfa (Medicago sativa L.) is known to be rich in vitamins (including K, A, C and B) and minerals such as iron, zinc, phosphorus and manganese, and contains chlorophyll, flavonoids and sterols.

Selenium occurs naturally in meat, fish, shellfish, and organ meats, among other things. Vegetarian sources generally contain lower levels of selenium, making this supplement especially valuable for vegans and vegetarians.

CareMe Selenium 200 µg contains no additives, colourings or anti-caking agents. The product is manufactured according to HAACP and GMP standards. The capsule consists of vegetable cellulose and the entire product is completely vegetable - an excellent choice even for vegans.

Dosage:
1 capsule per day in connection with a meal.
